Mr Tailor has operated on both my eyes this year, for the removal of cataracts and lens implants and at the same time to insert hydrus implants for treatment of glaucoma. At every step in the process from diagnosis, through surgery and final follow up I found him professional, very approachable and easy to talk to. He answered my questions clearly and explained the options for treatment and surgery. He made a daunting and scary prospect much easier to cope with. At a recent visit to my optician she commented while peering into my eyes, that my surgeon has done an excellent job and I have only a small neat scar which has healed beautifully. So I am delighted with my new eyes and can see better than I have since I was in my teens! Thank you so much Mr Tailor for all your care and attention.

I have been seeing Mr Tailor since being referred to Glaucoma Clinic by my optician in Feb 22. Although Glaucoma diagnosis was a huge shock Mr Tailor gave detailed information about the treatment options which included surgery and together we made a decision about the next steps. This took the form of a lense implant and stent in the right eye under general anaesthetic as a day patient and more recently laser iridotomy in the left. At all times Mr Tailor has been patient with my questions and his answers have always been clear. There has been just the right amount of follow ups at the right intervals after surgery etc so that I didn’t feel unduly worried or concerned. I would highly recommend Mr Tailor and despite a worrying condition I feel I’m in safe and experienced hands.

Today I had a follow up appointment having had surgery for glaucoma in August and November 2021. I am so very happy to say that the cataract and I stent surgery performed by Mr Tailor has been a huge success and that I have good vision and no need for eye drops to relieve eye pressures. I can’t thank Mr Tailor enough for his care and expertise and highly recommended him.

I was 100% satisfied with all aspects of this operation. Mr Tailor was professional, friendly and very approachable. I would have no problem in recommending him to others. In addition, I found his supporting team both inside theatre and in the follow up were of a vey high standard.
